FAQ

What are the most appropriate programs to do their jobs?

Those used for creating printing originals, including:

  • Adobe InDesign (.ind)
  • QuarkXpress (.qxd)
  • Adobe Illustrator (.ai .eps) - Macromedia FreeHand (.fh11)
  • Adobe Photoshop (.tif, .eps)
  • Corel Draw (.cdr)
  • Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)

Microsoft Office Programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Publisher) and others related to the field of office technology cannot be used directly for printing purposes and are therefore not recommended. If you have used these programs to create your work partially or in full, please contact us and we will explore the printing possibilities.

How files are to be submitted?

Bring the original mounted on the page size in its final size and its corresponding blood of 3 mm. Please do not send us the mounted file, i. e., if the file is A-%, for instance, do not mount four files in an A-3.

Do not worry; we'll make the imposition (mounting material within the format).

If the file is closed as a pdf, please include crop marks and a blood of 3 mm. If there are UV reservations, dies, stamping, embossing ... consult us, since these might be apart in a separate layer. The same applies to pantone colours, which have to be marked in the file.

If the file is not closed as a pdf because you' are not sure about how to do it properly, you can send us the document with the program you use, but always attaching drawn fonts and images. If any change in the text is required, please send the without drawing but please attach typographies.

File sizes

If the file size does not exceed 15 mg it can be emailed; if does exceed this size, please use any File Transfer programme (YouSendIt, WeTransfer, Dropbox, ...).

CD’s, DVD’s, pen drives, etc, are also accepted.

Files resolution

In general, if the work is to be printed in small or medium format, the optimum resolution is 300 dpi at final size.

If you are printing on plotter and the printing format is large, the optimal resolution would be 100 dpi. If you have any questions, contact us.

If you have not found answers to your questions on the above explanations, do not hesitate to contact us, we will try to help you in any query, since submitting files under optimal conditions will facilitate the production and the agreed compliance deadlines.
